Downtown Boise is easily accessible from the entire Treasure Valley by car or transit, via I-84 and the I-184 downtown connector. There are currently eight public parking garages that service both hourly and monthly parking needs. In addition there is metered and regulated on-street spaces designated as two-hour or less parking. Visitors receive the first hour free in the central parking district and each additional hour is $1.50. All metered spaces allow for 20 minutes of free parking that stimulate high turn-over rates for “in and out” transactions.
