Membership

DBA members are those businesses that are in the Business Improvement District. The district is generally bounded by 5 th Street on the East, 13 th Street on the West, State Street on the North and Myrtle Street on the South.

All businesses located in the district are subject to an annual assessment from Boise City. The DBA also maintains an active group of Associate members who contribute voluntarily to the DBA.

Annual Assessment Rate Sheet

DBA members receive their annual assessment billing from the City of Boise Utility Billing department in January followed by quarterly statements. New businesses within the district are exempt from the assessment from the date of first occupancy until the next billing date prescribed by the legislative authority, which is quarterly.

Annual Meeting - Wednesday April 18th, 2007

The “State of Downtown” 19th Annual Meeting Presented by the Library Blocks will place on April 18th, 2007 (7:30 – 9:00 am), at the Boise Centre on the Grove hosted by the Downtown Boise Association, Capital City Development Corporation and the City of Boise.

Committees

Retail Forum
A go-to forum for development of ideas and addressing concerns related to retail and service businesses. The Retail Forum meets the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30am at the DBA office.

Restaurant/Bar Forum
A go-to forum for development of ideas and addressing concerns related to downtown restaurants and bar business. The Restaurant/Bar forum meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm at the DBA office.
